We are looking for Qualified Residential Support Workers.

Are you a qualified Residential Social worker or are you wanting to gain your Level 4 Practitioner Diploma.

Idem Living are recruiting for the above vacancies in our new homes in Devon and Somerset working with children & young people who have experienced trauma. We are looking for people who have a passion & drive to motivate children and young people to make positive change often at a time of their lives when they are finding life challenging .A sense of humour and resilience are key aspects to your character, along with a genuine desire to build relationships and encourage change.

You will have a level 2/3 diploma or equivalent or previous experience that is transferable along with the desire to become qualified to Practitioner level 4.

We are seeking applications from current Deputies or experienced support workers who are passionate about challenging the existing narratives for Children Who Are Looked After.

You will be a professional with proven leadership experience within the sector and will need to be able to demonstrate that you have the relevant professional experience to manage the challenges of this role and the commitment to support the Registered Manager to achieve the very highest standards of care and support to young people.

IDEM Living - Exeter £32,000 - £35,000 a year

IDEM Living are looking to recruit a Registered Manager for our Children’s Home in Exeter, Devon.

Our Employee Retention figures are approx 80% and we are close to our target of a 100% Qualified (Elite) workforce.

We are looking for a unique person who has the passion, drive and skills to lead and manage our home.

You will have experience at management level and will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the management and leadership of teams working with children and young people with emotional, behavioural and mental health problems. You will understand the challenges of ensuring that the home is compliant in relation to Ofsted inspections and is able to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in relation to overall outcomes for the children living in the home. You will have previous demonstrable evidence of achieving good outcomes with Ofsted..

You will either be qualified at level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or working towards this and be committed to further learning and development.

Your ability to communicate effectively in a multi professional environment is essential alongside the ability to inspire as a leader. You will have the opportunity to shape the service strategically and to play a role as part of the overall management team in developing practice.

The Directors and senior management team at IDEM living are experienced managers and practitioners and understand the value of creating a supportive environment for the staff team to develop and grow. To this aim we provide extensive training opportunities and continual professional development. We provide external clinical support and supervision to our teams that aims to develop both the individual and the wider service delivery.
